Achimota School

Achimota school founded in 1924 and officially opened in 1927, is one of Ghana’s oldest and most prestigious co-educational boarding secondary Schools, renowned for its rich history of academic excellence, cultural heritage and leadership development. The School was founded by Sir Gordon Guggisberg, the then Governor of the Gold Coast, alongside James Kwegyir-Aggrey and Rev.Alec Garden Fraser. Situated on a 950-acre campus within the Achimota Forest Reserve, the School offers a serene environment conducive to learning.
