Pikworo slave camp

Established around 1704  , the Pikwori Slave camp served as a transit holding facility, where enslaved people captured from communities across Northern Ghana,and neighboring regions were detained.  At the slave camp,visitors can explore historic slave holding cells, learn about the Transatlantic slave trade,and see relics like eating bowls carved into rocks
