Manhyia Palace

 Manhyia Palace, located in Manhyia, a suburb of Kumasi, is the heart of Ghana’s Ashanti Region. Built in 1925, by the British Colonial  government for Asantehene Nana Prempeh I after he returned from exile in the Seychelles.It is both a living royal residence and a vibrant cultural museum. It offers a compelling blend of historical architecture, royal artifacts, cultural ceremonies,and repatriated treasures. With over 57,000 visitors in 2023, Manhyia Palace  ranked  among the top 10 most visited Tourist sites in Ghana.
