Institute of African Studies

The Institute of African Studies (IAS), at the University of Ghana  Legon, fulfills a vital role in the study, preservation, and communication of Africa’s cultural and historical heritage.Visitors can join the Ghana Dance Ensemble housed at IAS, as a guest or visiting participant. Visitors can take private group classes in Ghanaian music, drumming and dance, with the ensemble instructors.
