Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana (CRIG)

 established in June 1938, at Akim Tafo in Ghana’s Eastern Region, the CRIG operates under the umbrella of Ghana Cocoa Board. CRIG also manages research on other mandate crops, including coffee, shea, kola and cashew. Visitors will be able to explore cocoa research labs, tour historic farms, and learn about cocoa innovation.  www.crig.org.gh
