San Da Zua is founded by two Ghanaians, Isaac Quist and Sika Adanu, who are passionate about Ghana, about Africa, and about the important role that travel plays in learning, in changing perspectives and in transforming lives.

 ​ They share the belief that to travel is to learn. ​ In establishing San Da Zua, they are driven by a deep awareness of the critical importance to all involved, of eliminating the knowledge gap – cultural, historical, spiritual, psychological – that currently exists between Ghanaians/Africans and Africa’s several diasporas. ​ They are also driven by the desire to take Ghana to the world by bringing the world to Ghana/Africa in mutually beneficial ways. ​

Isaac Quist brings a strong background in international education to this enterprise. ​ He is deeply appreciative of the power of direct experience in making learning happen. ​ He leverages extensive knowledge and expertise in designing and implementing immersive intercultural learning programs that fully engage San Da Zua’s participants, unlock their curiosities, elevate their perspectives and, thereby, liberate them from the inhibiting confinements of history and habit. ​

Sika Adanu complements this vision with expertise in event coordination. ​ Known for her organizational skills and ability to connect with people from all walks of life, Sika focuses on creating seamless travel experiences that enable guests to immerse themselves in local experiences for the purposes of learning, entertainment and relaxation. ​

Together, they design for each participant a San Da Zua experience that goes far beyond sightseeing – an experience that offers hands-on activities, learning visits to historical landmarks, participation in restorative knowledge-building cultural rites/events, and deep engagements with local communities. ​ Their combined strengths ensure that every itinerary is both educational and enjoyable, blending structure with the flexibility to meet the unique needs of each traveler. ​
